About Me

My interest in photography started at a very young age, as my dad is a photographer, and I therefore was constantly surrounded by cameras and equipment. When I was about 11 or 12, he gave me his old camera, and began to show me how to use a DSLR. I absolutely loved taking pictures, and would lug around whatever camera I could get my hands on anywhere I went.

When I reached my senior year of high school, I had an open elective, and decided that I would like to have a more formal education and foundation in photography. I found this class to be very beneficial in solidifying my base in photography, as well as in giving me new and challenging assignments that tested my knowledge. It was difficult to have to take pictures for a specific assignment, as I am so used to taking pictures whenever and of whatever I want. However, I am very happy with the pictures and work that I produced throughout this class.
